An Illustrated Talk on Lucy Boston: By Diana Boston, followed by Q&A
“Lucy Boston: Green Knowe books, patchworks, house and garden”
Diana Boston will give a virtual, illustrated talk on the life her late mother-in-law, Lucy Boston.
The talk will be given as a Zoom seminar and there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions at the end of Diana’s presentation.
She will talk about the ancient Manor House in Hemingford Grey, Cambridgeshire, the 900-year old home which was the inspiration for Lucy’s Green Knowe children’s books. As well as being an author, Lucy Boston is world-renowned as a patchworker and Diana will share images of some of Lucy’s best-known patchworks. Diana will also show various photographs of the beautiful garden at The Manor, Hemingford Grey, which was originally designed and planted by Lucy Boston.
